Another leak of the frames from what is claimed to be the iPhone HD or 4G has turned up online. The frames look much like the ones in the Gizmodo leak and you can see the frames for yourself at SlashGear.

That new Skype app for the iPhone lets you make VoIP calls over the 3G network right now. The catch is that once you are hooked Skype plans to start charging users for that ability in 2011.

Rumors are going around that when the new iPhone is debuted Google will no longer be the default search engine. According to the rumors, Bing will be replacing Google on the new device.

Anyone who follows the iPhone knows that the devices are unveiled at WWDC, set to kick off in only a few days. The launch of a new iPhone will mean the iPhone 3G will be killed off and the select button to buy the device has been removed from the Apple Store, is this a sign of things to come.

One of the things that has surfaced in the latest beta for the iPhone OS 4.0 was tethering support. CNET figures if you are thinking about an iPad 3G you should hold off since the iPhone just might allow tethering for the device at less cost.

A rumor is circulating that Sam Mendes, best known for directing American Beauty, will be directing new ads for the iPhone4G. The rumor surfaced in Tweets for actors vying for parts in the ads.

Rhapsody has been on the iPhone for a while now and the service has gained an important new feature. Users can now take advantage of an offline listening mode that caches music and lets you listen without an internet connection.

The Apple employee who lost the infamous iPhone HD prototype in a bar has been offered a free German holiday. The offer comes from Lufthansa airlines and if I were My. Powell I’d want to be sure Steve Jobs wasn’t sending him over on a one way ticket.

A jailbroken iPhone has been hacked to run Android. The Android OS is said to run slowly, but it works for SMS, voice, and web surfing.

Reports are coming in that claim the sources have told Daring Fireball’s John Gruber that the iPhone Gizmodo bought is “very similar” to the read deal.

Those images of the iPhone HD that have been turning up have a bit more of a story to go with them now. After a tear down, the device found in a bar in California is apparently the real deal lost by an employee out for a night on the town. Someone needs to dust off their resume.

Apple has really given weight to the iPhone 4g prototype that was found in the bar I just mentioned by asking Gizmodo to give the device back. Each time the company demands images or content come down, it’s seen as an admission that said content is real by many.

Sister site SlashGear has its own iPhone app that is now available on the App Store for folks to download. It offers updates on new stories on the site.

Apple is expected to unveil its earnings for Q1 2010 soon and big things are expected. Strong demand for the iPhone and the iPad are expected to add to the earnings report.

Another rumor is floating around today that claims Adobe is looking to sue Apple. The suit is rumored to be because of changes to the iPhone SDK license.

Apple has been granted a patent on the visual design of the iPhone and iPod touch. That will give Apple the power to fight companies making clone devices on a different front.
