iPhone Buzz Week in Review - Week 32 2008

A lot of iPhone news this week, folks, so let's jump right in. First up, the App Store was repeatedly in focus as various apps were pulled. Box Office, the app that let you check movies times from your iPhone was pulled, then the ridiculous I Am Rich app was yanked. PwnageTool 2.0.2 Is Up!

Yesterday, the DevTeam reported that there was a slight hold up with PwnageTool 2.0.2 and that we wouldn't see its release until sometime later today. But they've stayed up late, fixed the bug and you can download the tool right this second! They recommend that you update your current version by using Sparkle, the tool's internal updater. Included in the download is the newest Cydia and the Installer 4 Beta. Good luck to ... continued »

Installer 4 for the iPhone in BETA

If your iPhone or iPhone 3G is jailbroken, you've more likely than not heard of the Installer app. But it looks like Installer 4 BETA has hit the web--albeit, a bit early according to developers. Because this is a BETA version of the app, there are more problems than normal, such as crashes and various bugs.
