If you are a fan of Star Wars or Lipton Brisk tea, a new app is out for iOS that you might want to check out. Lipton and Star Wars are teaming to advertise the coming Phantom menace flick in 3D. To celebrate the tie up the app is called Brisksaber and it is available right now for download.

The ESRB ratings on video games for consoles and PCs all use letters to warn when a game might not be appropriate for kids. Apple and Google will not use the new mobile Application Rating system apparently essentially making it dead before it launches.

T-Mobile USA has let go with an interesting statistic. The network has over a million iPhones on its network even though it doesn't offer the device. Apparently, the users cut down T-Mobile SIMs to work but don’t get 3G or 4G data speeds.

One of my favorite scenes in Monty Python and the Holy Grail is where they start attacking the French castle with a catapult loaded with cows. An iPhone app is coming soon that will let you fling cows all you want called Monty Python Cow Tossing and it should land in the next few weeks.

If you are a soccer fan and like to game on your iPhone EA has launched its top selling sports game FIFA Soccer 11 on the iPhone. The game has 500 licensed teams, 30 officially licensed leagues, and 15,000 players along with 35 authentic stadiums.

I am really digging the way some iPad games are using the iPhone as controllers. The latest such game is called PadRacer and each player uses the iPhone to control the car on the iPad screen.

CNET figures that the Plants vs. Zombies game for the iPhone is the perfect iPhone app, which is saying a lot. The app is a variant of a tower defense game that has the player setting up plants to destroy zombies that are getting on their lawn.

AT&T is gaining a bit on Verizon thanks to the iPhone. Last quarter AT&T sold 3.1 million iPhones and now has 85.1 million total subscribers.
