Cook not happy at offensive factory claims

Apple CEO Tim Cook isn't happy at all about the claims that are making rounds claiming the company is knowingly using manufacturing facilitates where labor abuses are common. Cook said, "We care about every worker in the worldwide supply chain." He also said that the accusations were offensive. continued »

Target and Radio Shack are both said to be cutting prices of the iPhone this week, possibly today. The price cuts aren’t huge and would out the 3GS around $19.99, the 16GB iPhone 4 at $169.99, and the 32GB iPhone 4 at $269.99. continued »

Apple gets limited pinch-to-zoom patent, iPhone coming to Target and Sam’s, Foxconn confirms price increase

Apple has been granted a limited patent on pinch-to-zoom technology for multitouch displays. The patent has a few limitations that will mean most phones on the market are fine with their pinch-to-zoom. Apple's patent covers pinch-to-zoom and then pinching to zoom again within a set period. continued »
