After an Adobe Support Engineer was asked when the iPhone and iPod touch would support flash on Mobile Safari, a response concluded that the wrong company was being asked. It doesn't look like an update with Flash is near, but possibly a member of any of the iPhone dev teams can hack it up.

According to the iPhone dev team, a SecPack has been extracted from firmware version 1.1.2 making it possible to re-flash the baseband of the phone after it has been unlocked.
This means that unlocking software can now revirginize your phone with 1.1.2 and bring it back to it's original state before unlocking the phone.

Eagle-eyed iPhone lover pixelperfect over at the MacTalk forums has been poring over the official Apple "Welcome/Guided Tour" video (probably trying to kill some time until the handset makes it outside of the US) and has spotted what looks like a Flash-based mp3 player interface shown on the mobileSafari browser.
