While poking around the the iPhone 2.0 firmware Vincent got a hold of, he noticed not only can you save images directly from Safari, but you can save images from email attachments. The saving of images from an email attachment works much like it does when you save an image from Safari. Video of it in action after the jump.

Just as in Safari, it is very simple to save and store images from an email attachment to your iPhone. You hold your finger over the image for a few seconds, and a menu will come up and offer you some options for saving the image. The image is saved in your camera roll. More and more, the iPhone 2.0 firmware is appearing to make the iPhone a very formidable opponent to Windows Mobile and BlackBerry devices.

Once again, iPhone Buzz has gotten you the story on the new iPhone firmware 2.0 to you first. If you want to be the first to know when a new feature drops, keep checking back. You will know when we do.

Marware’s Sidewinder case for the iPhone is the Swiss Army knife of cases. First of all it’s a low-profile holster. The reversible-mounting holster lets you carry the iPhone face out for visibility or face in for maximum protection. I like the concept of a retractable management system and a slot for the Apple branded Bluetooth headset, but there’s a certain level of nerdiness that even I cannot reach. I’ll stick with the case on its own, for now!

The rubberized exterior gives the Sidewinder a nice touch and feel while keeping the case extremely durable. The interior is rubber-lined to help prevent your iPhone from getting scratched up.

Unboxing the Marware Sidewinder Smart holster for iPhone

[MEDIA=64]

It comes with a removable 360-degrees rotating ratchet belt clip. If you don’t mind this type of clip, then it’s perfect for you. However, for me it’s slightly thicker than I like, causing the iPhone to stick out away from my hip too much. On the plus side, you can position the case vertically or horizontally, simply by rotating it, and I can see that the flexibility might make the Sidewinder a winner.

Marware have handily included a clear protection film that covers the entire face of the iPhone, as well as a microfiber cleaning cloth. All this for only $24.95!

Quality and craftsmanship: 4/5
Design: 4/5

This looks like a great concept, but I’d be really afraid the Apple Bluetooth headset would drop off (what a way to lose a really expensive headset).
