Apple sent out their Firmware 2.1 Beta 4 to developers, it seems. The focus of this update? Why, bug fixes, of course. iPhone 2.1 Beta 3 Released to Developers

It looks like Apple is moving right along with updates, as the iPhone 2.1 beta 3 firmware has just been seeded to developers.  The beta is meant for developers to test, only. iPhone 3G Firmware Hits Developers

There's a big difference between the first gen iPhone and the iPhone 3G. Apple is moving forward with firmware updates much quicker this time around.
