TimeCommand clock dock debuts, Jawbone Thoughts adds PTT, Epson iPhone print app gets free

Alarm clocks for docking and charging the iPhone are nothing new, but the TimeCommand from Stem Innovation has a couple new tricks. The clock is round, charges the iPhone and iPad plus it can act as a control for your bedside lamp to wake you to light as well as music.

Jawbone has a new download for the Icon headset that you can get on the App Store now called Jawbone Thoughts. The new app adds push to talk style functionality on the iPhone. The app lets you record audio messages, they go to their iPhone users with the app like a text, and non-iOS users get an email link. The app is free but after the first ten messages, you have to pay for more.

Epson and Thinxtreme have announced that the PrintJinni app for printing to Epson printers using the iPhone will be free. The app is $6.99 right now but after the price change is processed, it will be a free app. That change is expected to happen around the end of December.

myChevrolet and OnStar MyLink app, Urbanears Plattan Plus headphones, iPhone alarm falt for DST

iPhone users can get a couple new apps for their OnStar equipped Chevrolet cars. The apps are myChevrolet and OnStar MyLink allowing the user to find their car easier when they park and lots more.

Urbanears debuts the new Plattan Plus headphones that are made for iPhone certified. The headphones have an inline remote control that can control volume and has a mic built-in.

iPhone users that are on OS 4.1 have noted that there seems to be an issue with the DST change in areas where this has already happened. Apparently, the alarms were going off an hour late.

I have an alarm clock for my iPhone, the only catch is that it seems to be unable to fully charge my new iPhone 3GS while it worked perfectly for my original iPhone. This has me on the market for a new clock that will work with my iPhone 3GS. Sony has unveiled a new ICF-CL75iP alarm clock that looks really cool.

The device is a bit pricy at $150, but it has 1GB of internal storage for music or video files, a 7-inch 800 x 480 LCD, and a dock that retracts for more nightstand space when you aren’t docked. The clock can wake you up to AM/FM, iPhone, nature sounds, or a ten second voice recording of your choice.

That is a huge screen and some night the orange LCD display of my current clock is too much light, I wonder if the screen can be turned off. I bet you can sue the thing like a digital picture frame too with that internal storage.
