Mophie has been making battery cases for the iPhone line for a number of years that add additional runtime to the smartphone. The company has announced that it is now shipping its Juice Pack Air sleeve for the iPhone 5 for $99.95.

The designers behind the POP charger have announced that the project is back on. Previously the company had told backers that it would be issuing refunds after Apple refused to give the project its approval. However, Apple has now changed its rules regarding the Lightning connector and the charger project will move forward.

If you need to be able to charge your iPhone or other device away from an outlet for days at a time the new product is coming to Brookstone this year that will do the deed. The product is a small fuel cell charger uses cartridges lighter fluid inside to generate power for weeks at a time.

A sweet new case for iPhones is on Kickstarter seeking funding to come to market called the JuiceTank. The case maker needs $125,000 to bring the case, which has electric outlet prongs for direct charging integrated, to market.
