iPhone Buzz Week in Review - Week 34 2008
We started the week here at iPhone Buzz discussing all things having to do with the reception issues the iPhone 3G has been experiencing. Steve Jobs admitted that about 2% of iPhone 3G users have experienced the connection issues. An angry customer even sued Apple over the reception issues.

Steve Jobs confirms third-party app crash bug; says a solution is coming
A reader over at AppleInsider just got another one of Steve Jobs' brief and to the point emails. This time, it's in regards to a crash bug that affects third-party apps on start up.
The email reads as follows:
"This is a known iPhone bug that is being fixed in the next software update in September."

Apple Testing iPhone 2.0.1
An iPhone 2.0 update appears to be on the way, as AppleInsider has caught a screenshot of an iPhone running software version 2.0.1. What will this update entail? No one can say for sure since at this point the updated phones can be traced only to the San Francisco Bay Area aka Apple headquarters and Atlanta, where AT&T is located.
