One of the ways that the popularity of online devices is measured is by looking at browser usage and the percent of the ad market that they hold. The iPhone is now sitting on 40% of the mobile ad market according to AdMob.

Anti virus company Trend Micro recently launched their own browser app for iPhone and iPod touch called Smart Surfing. The company claims that it's the first secure browser to provide enhanced Web threat protection for these devices.
