I haven’t tried a boxing game on my iPhone, but I am thinking about trying this new one from Handmark.

The game is called Down 4 the Count and it uses the multitouch interface of the iPhone to control the fighter. To punch you touch the screen, dodging punches is done with a swipe and you hold the screen to block a punch.

The game supports the ability to make your own playlist of your personal tracks. Players can choose from ten different opponents in bouts lasting up to three rounds. To progress you have to knock out different fighters. You can grab the app now on the App Store for 99 cents.
