Today I decided to download Break, which is a simple brick-breaking game. Think Breakout, only the blocks have little bears, dogs and other “cute” animals on them. You also get power-ups like a wider paddle and extra lives.

Independent engine developer GarageGames has just announced the availability of their Torque engine on the iPhone. This will allow developers provide 2D and 3D environments within iPhone apps. ...

It's no secret that I love iPhone apps. You can find me browsing the App Store more often than I'd like to reveal. But getting to my point, while browsing the store, I've noticed a few things that probably need to be addressed in an upcoming update.
For instance, after I install updates to applications through the App Store on ...

No one can say for sure since at this point the updated phones can be traced only to the San Francisco Bay Area aka Apple headquarters and Atlanta, where AT&T is located. With ...

Here's an interesting tidbit for those that own an AppleTV. I'm sure you've likely downloaded the Remote application for your iPhone (it's pretty useful, and free, so download it if you haven't), so open it up and you'll see the controls for your media browser. Sure, that's nothing exciting, but use your remote to navigate to YouTube Search or the ...

Everyone that knows me is aware that I'm addicted to games like Guitar Hero and Rock Band. It's only natural that I would be drawn to the game Tap Tap Revenge for the iPhone. It's a relatively simple concept, much the same as either of the two rhythm games I mentioned. You've got orbs that come down your screen that ...

We already know that the iPhone is turning into quite the gaming platform, with some big titles already in the works, but just how does it stack up to consoles in terms of raw power? According to Sega's president Simon Jeffrey, it's as powerful as the Sega Dreamcast.
Sure, the Dreamcast is around 9 years old, but for a phone to ...
