So Google has decided to be a pioneer, again, and give away free IMAP support for your equally free GMail account. Why is this a big deal? iJailBreak

AriX, a gentleman from our sister site, Apple-Touch.com, took the time to automate the jailbreak process for Mac Intel users by making iJailBreak. Sure, judging from the title, you might think it was for the iPhone, but not so much, its for the iPod Touch, the iPhone’s service provider free cousin. More of Google’s web based apps get mobilized

As in you can access them on your mobile now. Well at least you can on your iPhone. I don’t actually have a smartphone of any sort or an iPhone so I can’t test this, but the people over at The Boy Genius Report said they look nice on the iPhone. Google Talk Gadget web app for iPhone? [UPDATED]

Updated: July 7, 2007 - No go for Google Talk - still requires adobe flash version 8 or higher. It looks like YouTube isn’t going to be the only application that Google is making available on the iPhone. There seems to be a web base version of Google Talk called Talk Gadget.
