Over at SlashGear, Vincent has just reviewed the BlueAnt V1 Voice Control Bluetooth Headset and it may be the high-end bluetooth headset of choice for those looking for a little something more out of their talk-time experience.

Equipped with a new technology called BlueGenie, this headset can be activated via voice commands. And keywords aren't even necessary. you can just speak normally and get the device to do what you want. One example of such a command is "check battery" which will cause the V1 to tell you how much charge is left.

And to get down to the specs, this BlueAnt model measures in at 41 x 17.5 x 11.2mm, has a Li-Ion battery that can last for 5hrs of talk time or up to 200 hrs in standby mode, a multifunction button that also acts as the voice command trigger, a MicroUSB socket and Bluetooth v2.1 support.

All in all, the BlueAnt V1 is a good buy and is rather accurate in its receptiveness to voice commands. However, it doesn't fit quite as well as the Jawbone 2 and its audio isn't as good as some other headsets on the market. Even so, for $129.99, the BlueAnt V1 wins out for its top-notch voice command abilities.

Wow!!! what a review. One example of one funtion and the specs on size.
How about telling us if you can do true voice dialing from your contacts on the iphone, and the quality of the voice dialing feature. How about telling us about all the functions and how well they work. IF YOU ARE GOING TO DO A REVIEW YOU MIGHT AS WELL DO A COMPLETE AND THOROUGH REVIEW. Reviews like these tend to make us feel like you have something to gain when the product sells, and that the product actually sucks.
