Reviews of the simplest products would, ostensibly, be the easiest to write, but in actual fact can be hardest; iPhone Central cope pretty well with their coverage of Belkin's Headphone Adapter for iPhone. Costing just $11 (although many argue that Apple - having caused the socket issue in the first place - should have included an adapter in with the phone itself), it's a two-inch long rubber-clad rod with a plug at one end and socket it the other.

iPhone Central decided that the bendable adapter, despite being the simplest on offer of those announced, did its job without unduly impacting on audio clarity, though I'd still personally have doubts about anything that protrudes so much from the side of the handset. Looks like an accident waiting to happen to me.
