Cisco has announced a new security application for the iPhone called SIO to Go. The app is designed to allow users to get alerts on new security threats and other info on safe web surfing.

TomTom has issued a new update to its navigation app that allows the original iPhone and the iPod touch to work with the application and the TomTom car kit. It really made no sense not to since the car kit has an external GPS receiver.

After a long wait regulators in South Korea have finally approved the iPhone and cleared the way for it to head into the country. KT Corp, the second largest carrier in Korea, plans to start taking orders for the iPhone on November 28.

New Blu-ray films from Universal will feature iPhone interactivity. The first of the films to offer such interactivity will be the animated film "9". The feature is called Pocket Blu and will let users enter text with the iPhone rather than the remote.

There is a constant battle raging between Apple and the developers that design and release unlocking solutions for the iPhone. Each time Apple stops one unlock from working the devs release another. The latest unlock software called blacksn0w is set to hit on the 4th. The new unlock works on OS 3.1.2.
