Samsung’s Answer to the iPhone?

G-A on Akihabara News has just posted pictures of Samsung's new UltraSmart F700, an obvious answer to the iPhone's full screen design. He rightly says, " I must admit that your iPHONE gave other manufacturers a kick in the butt that awakened them. Let Your iPhone Be Your Guide

I received a press release from Expodition today, saying that their Pod SnapShot, or PSS service will also be available for iPhones. I had never heard of this service, so some digging was in order. What Exposition basically does is create these "SnapShots" that can be downloaded to an iPod and also to the iPhone once it is released.  According to Expodition, "a SnapShot about a particular place may include details on closest transport links, ... continued »

The Evolution of the Smart Phone?! Not Quite…

I'm not quite sure how the Apple iPhone ended up on this list. While it's lovely to see the progression of the various Palm OS, Pocket PC, and Blackberry models, can we agree once and for all that the iPhone is not meant to be a Smart Phone, or Smartphone, in the traditional sense?
