Apple is granted another week in Cisco dispute

At this rate, we'll see the iPhone on the market before we hear a resolution to this matter. Then again, you never know, maybe Cisco wants to put it off that long. The stronger the sales, the more they are likely to get out of it if they win.

However, the cause is more likely that the two companies are currently in negotiations. If that is true, then we will hopefully have a resolution soon.

I don't foresee Apple having to change their name, even though it hasn't been released. It is more likely that there will be some sort of monetary exchange for rights to the name.

  1. Today’s the deadline for the extension. The first deadline was back on February 15. One way or another, they’ve gotta come to some resolution.
