Apple has filed a new trademark application for “Cover Flow”. This covers “computer software for browsing the contents of a library of music or video files.”

This would seem to cover the iTunes music store, as they submitted a screenshot of the iTunes download page as “proof of commerce”. This trademark was first used in commerce as early as September 12 of last year, and is still currently being used.

The application number 77107545 was filed on February 14, 2007, and was published by the US Patent & Trademark office on February 21, 2007.
