Eric Schmidt would not comment on rumors that Google is working with Apple on a tablet-centric device.  However, Google’s head honcho does admit to working on more “new things” together on lots of new projects.  As expect, his response was vague and will open the door to more rumors and speculations.  Thanks a lot Schmidt; your comment should fuel rumors and speculations for the next 10 years.

Apple & Google

It’s no big secret that Schmidt recently joined Apple’s board of directors, so it’s obvious the two companies see eye to eye on everything from having similar goals to facing similar competitors.

[Vincent’s take]  Google search engine rocks, Google map gives me a direction in life, Google Reader is the best RSS reader on the planet, so when the duo pair up to creating that “something” I’ll be the first in line to buy it.
