So those of you with a jailbroken iPhone may have been looking longingly towards the App Store, wishing you could get in on some of that action. Sure, you've had some pretty cool applications for a while, but you want more. Well thanks to some crafty hackers, you can start getting games from the App Store for free.

The Fairplay DRM was hacked some time back, which is what protects the applications, however, it has been applied to the ever popular Super Monkey Ball. If you know where to look, you can grab yourself a copy of the game for free.
Granted, you're going to need to do a little work to make it happen. First, you have to have a jailbroken iPhone, then you'll have to SSH in to change a few permissions and such, as well as to transfer the game. Now it's only a matter of time before more and more apps start showing up like this.

Super “money” ball? You sure are a king of spellcheck, my friend.
Yes, because spellcheck is going to think that “money” isn’t a word. Thanks for that insightful look at how little you know Mr. “Anonymous”.
I’m not getting into a debate about unlocking iPhones or not, but isn’t this article basically encouraging software theft?
Whether you agree with Apple’s methods or not, this is stealing from 3rd party software companies.
Mark, as with many other such site that are reporting on this, we are not encouraging the theft of software. It is for that reason why I have not provided any links to where one could download the pirated game.
We simply cover the latest in iPhone news, and this is definitely a big news story.
@ Johnny
Take a chill pill, mr Johnny. Spellcheck is not only an application, it is also a way of life. You see, grammar, spellchecking and the language as a category existed long before you got up this morning all cranky and hissy.
Spelling errors and illegal how to’s are why I read this site, I especially liked the one about “fooling” ATT into thinking you had previously owned an iphone, that was almost as good as Abbie Hoffman….. lol… keep it up guys !!
Spell-check vs. intentions aside, the lack of proofreading on a 3-tiny-paragraph article such as this is simply amateurish. An honest mistake, for sure, but one that should easily be caught on a cursory review.
“Super Money Ball” he-he, I would have thought it was an intentional spoof pointing out the excessive piles of money the game is bringing in for it’s developer. I enjoy this site with or without the typo’s. Why don’t you go read some of those “opinion” papers like the NY Times or some other journalistic abomination if you want to correct and critique something. They NEED it!
I found a list of cracked games and apps with all the download links…

Rhanks Sebby. Now can you tell me where can i find the software to jailbreak the iPhone?
Hi Guys,
There is a kind of internal hacking going on inside the App Store, Violating the SDK agreement secretly. Read this if you care: http://www.iphonefootprint.com/2008/08/app-store-hacked/
