Well, it looks like someone has finally had enough of the iPhone 3G. At least that’s what we can glean from reports that an iPhone customer has filed a lawsuit against Apple because the phone doesn’t live up to its advertised abilities.
I can understand being seriously disappointed by a product’s performance, but the phone has only been out for a little while. Might it be a bit more advantageous to just wait a bit longer for Apple to fix all of these issues?
In case you’re wondering, the customer’s name is Jessica Alena Smith and she has high hopes that the suit will be approved for class action status. And while being disappointed with the iPhone 3G’s performance is understandable, I can’t help but feel like this suit is meant to make a quick buck.

“The phone has only been out for a little while” isn’t the reason of product failure, customers are not supposed to be the product testers.

Hey chief, you can’t return the phone after a very small window of time. I wanted to give this thing a chance but now I feel duped. The phone sucks beyond all compare! I’m a die hard Mac user and this product is the worst Apple product I’ve ever had. Numerous dropped calls, blacked-out screen, 3G my A**!! Now they drop the price and release the 8G?! Gee, glad I just bought my “new” iPhone. Time to move on, Jobs. Way to piss off your users. In addition, they partnered with AT&T. They have the worst network available. Who the hell is on AT&T anyway?? Well, me now for one. How do you sign up for this law suit? I hope that girl wins….as much as I love Apple, I’m super disappointed.
