I doubt the whole nano. The iPhone = OS X. I don't think you'll be able to get OS X to run and deliver anything near the experience of iPhone on something smaller. At least not with today's technology. Afer all, you can't play video on the nano as it is now. How do you think they are going to get OS X into that form factor, to say nothing of inputting any valid text using touchscreen technology?

Cheaper versions of the iPhone later? Sure. I could buy that. And by buy I mean believe, not purchasing. But downsizing the form factor and still deliver the iPhone experience? Na.
The HTC Touch - touchscreen is smaller than the iPhone, I definitely have difficulties inputing text. I don't mind the size of the iPhone, but one future improvement might be to slim it down even more. The width and height is just fine.
