T-Mobile USA has let go with an interesting statistic. The network has over a million iPhones on its network even though it doesn’t offer the device. Apparently, the users cut down T-Mobile SIMs to work but don’t get 3G or 4G data speeds.

Apple took Amazon to court for trademark infringement when Amazon launched its Appstore. The judge in the case has now said she will probably rule against Apple’s request to force Amazon to ditch the name because there has been no proof of confusion with customers.
A cool accessory for the iPhone turned up called the appBlaster. It is a gun that works with an AR game letting players shoot aliens in their home.

I got my first iPhone in December 2009. I was switching from T-Moblile. When I called from the Apple Store to cancel my service I told him I was getting the iPhone. He said, “We offer iPhone service.” That threw me for a loop for a second. Then I asked, “Yes, but only if I jailbreak the phone, right?” He admitted that was the only way to do it. I thought it was a little deceptive and I wondered how many iPhone users got on with T-Mobile that way.
