Loading ...So some guy who is apparently a coding monkey, but highly evolved, has finally gotten his hands on an iPod Touch, granted it has a busted screen, but he is really just using it to dump all the firmware and all that good stuff. The gentleman’s name is “Martyn” and he traded some poor lady who had a broken iPod Touch that wasn’t covered under the warranty for a working Nano.
Anyways, he is dumping all the data now. It should be done by this morning, and then he will need some time to translate all that good stuff into something he, and presumably others, can work with.
There is a touchdev wiki that you can visit to monitor progress, or better yet, offer up any useful info you might have. So patience is a virtue, but hopefully they will be able to fully reconstruct the file system and figure some good stuff out for us.

I love my touch! Its the best thing ever… Even without 3rd party apps. The wifi is great. I’m even leaving this comment from it.
